The residency was part of the Borders of Perception project. A series of site specific locations that related to physical or metaphorical borders.

Working on the border between Holland and Germany and between living and dying, Davina collected flora that weighed 21 Grams, the supposed weight of the soul. These formed part of an installation that had hands full and empty set on plaster blocks with the repeated meme 21 grams carved into them and divided with a silk hanging. The drawn marks on the hanging suggest wind blown grass or the movements made by a dancing body as a dying mother is let go of.
