Developing mark making with monoprint and collage from last weeks experiments for The Empty Fence Series. Seeing the top sections of the fence at Black Rock Nature Reserve, that I tied the tatters of Chris’ two favourite shirts to, removed by tidal force and buried in the mud reminds me of the fragility of life. This seems particularly relevant as the fragility of the earth is brought into sharp focus by the failings of the Cop 26 meetings in Glasgow.
